Cerridwyn Arabian Sporthorses’ breeding program combines archival
CMK bloodlines with those of Polish athletes represented by such greats
as *Derwisz, *Orzel, *Naborr and Negatiw. Our program specializes
in the Arabian-bred sporthorse. Included in our successes is the 16hh
Dervatiw Gwyddion+++// (AJ Ibn Negatiw++ x Dervona x *Derwisz) owned
by Jean Peck of Paslow Hall Arabians. Also foundation to our program
are Gwyd’s two full sisters, Dervatiw Gwendlyn, a proven race
mare and ISR-approved, and Dervatiw Eowyn. Our stallions include the
Canadian and US Champion Driving Horse WN Winter Park (*Naborr x Bed
of Roses) and the certified 76.55 percent Crabbett/Blunt Badi Beh
Rhum (Classy McCoy x Badi Prixfarah).
2005 Dawn’s Magic:
Anglo Arab colt by Dervatiw Gwyddion+++// out of Rheinland Verband-
approved Thoroughbred mare Dawn’s Slewpy whose top Thoroughbred
bloodlines include Seattle Slew and stallion in the Arabian sport
horse world.
2005 Ibn Beh Rhum: CMK bred colt by Badi Beh Rhum
x Classy McCoy and Missilet (Khemo Rain Dance x Rasmanique), ISR Mare
Book. Missy and Buddy produce extremely typey, pony- sized offspring
with kind temperament.
2003 Bay filly racing or dressage prospect: Dervatiw
Arwen, by Dervatiw Gwyddion+++// and the Polish/Russian bay mare,
Willow MBN (*Elston x *Wijenna x Tallin). *Elston was a race winner
in Poland and Tallin was a Russian stakes winner later imported to
Poland.
1998 Dressage prospect: Habibi Beh Rhum, flashy bay
gelding by CMK stallion Badi Beh Rhum out of Missilet. Very talented,
awesome movement.
2001 Dressage/jumper prospect: Drust Mab Kaspareit
(Kaspareit x Dervatiw Eowyn x AJ Ibn Negatiw++), a flashy half Trakehner
gelding. The late Kaspareit was an imported and German- bred Verband-tested
stallion. Drust is a coppery chestnut with four high white stockings
and a big blaze. Gentle, intelligent and ready to start serious training.
2002 Dressage and stallion prospect: Winter Sunrise
(WN Winter Park x Dervatiw Gwendlyn), flashy sabino chestnut with
very correct sporthorse conformation and lovely fluid movement. Very
handsome boy.
2003 Sporthorse prospect: Dervatiw Winter (WN Winter
Park and Dervatiw Eowyn). Grey with extremely fine, dry head. Could
compete halter as well as in-hand sporthorse. Very typey. Excellent
bone and temperament.
2004 Sporthorse filly: Winters’ Storm has a
very dramatic and breath-taking beauty, liver chestnut, (WN Winter
Park x *Naborr and Telluride Gold x Foccus x Aladdin and Aerial Aqarius
x Gdansk). Long legged with an outstanding hip and shoulder. This
future mare will be a great addition to any breeding program and promises
to be an outstanding competition prospect.
2004 Sporthorse prospect: Half-Trakehner foal by
our purebred Arabian CMK stallion Badi Beh Rhum, third level dressage,
and the imported German Verband Trakehner mare Lucy Mae (her grandsire,
the former champion stallion Amadeus, was known for being a quality
mare producer of impeccable temperaments). Lucy’s bloodlines
are not available anywhere else in the United States.
