DERVONA

Best friend and personal companion to breeder Ruth Austen, Dervona
(*Derwisz by Galannie) was one of the first purebred Arabian mares to be accepted into the ISR Main Mare Book at an open inspection. She was twenty-two.

Her daughter Dervatiw Gwendlyn x AJ IBN Negatiw was also accepted into the ISR Mare Book as high point mare at an exclusively Arabian mare ISR inspection. She went on to race and has produced two more fine foundation horses for Cerridwyn Arabian Sporthorses' breeding program: a filly going on four by Dezoram, the first Arabian Stallion to earn his Legion of Extreme Merit in racing; and a colt going on three by
*Czaprak, one of Poland's leading race horses prior to importation. Gwen has replaced her dam as companion and trail horse.

All four foals Dervona produced for Cerridwyn Arabian Sporthorses were by AJ IBN Negatiw.
